What is Al-Anon?
Al-Anon is a 12-Step recovery program for family members and friends of alcoholics and addicts. We focus on healing from the effects of the disease.

What happens at an Al-Anon meeting?
Most meetings begin with reading the steps and traditions. A topic is selected by the chairperson or the group. Members share their experience, strength and hope related to that topic.

Do I need to do anything before I come to an Al-Anon meeting?
No. Just show up.

How do I know if Al-Anon is for me?
Has someone's drinking or drugging affected you? If so, Al-Anon is for you. It does not matter if the family member or friend is sober or still using. The loved one may be a spouse, child, grandchild, parent or friend.
